Jesus Christ, The Light of the world, the redeemer,
the temple cleansing!
God will not submit wrath judgment until the righteous are removed out of the way as he did with Lot and Noah. The catching away of the Bride, saved in Christ Jesus!
Luke17:25 But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
IT'S JESUS, NOT ALIENS, that removes the true believers in Jesus' atoned blood! They have you looking at the sky right now and have been for years to acclimate you to their lies about aliens and abductions so you won't believe the Word, The Bible, Jesus Christ. The Feast’s of the Lord points directly to the sacrifice and the shedding of blood. The scriptures come alive and we hear Paul’s words even louder now, 1 Thessalonians 4 and 5, along with the prophets who foretold the story of our Savior, Micah 5, Hosea 5 and 6:2, 2 Kings 4, Galatians 4, Isaiah 26, 54, 57, 66. Of course John the Revelator who saw us believers at the throne 20 years after the destruction of the physical Temple in Jerusalem in 70AD, Revelation 1 and 4. Don’t miss out on what the Lord is showing us as the Jews missed it in 30AD. Hosea 6:2, “After two days (Two Thousand Years) will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight” (Jews) (2030, 3030). Psalms 118:26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord;, Matthew 23:39 (Jesus said to the Jews) For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord, baruch haba hashem Adonai!
Jesus fulfilled the first 4 Jewish Feasts
God ordered Moses to change the calendar New Year Day to Nisan 1, our March 17, this has not been obeyed by the current Jews as they follow a civil calendar putting New Year Day at Tishri This is the Millennial Feast schedule.
New Millennial Reign Feast schedule as shown in Ezekiel 45:18 – 25, Zechariah 14:16 – 19:
Spring Feast: Time of Life / First day, Passover / Unleavened Bread on the 14th day of the First month, Nisan, Aviv for seven days.
Fall Feast: Tabernacles on the 15th day of the 7th month, Tishri for seven days.
The First day of the first month, Nisan / Aviv is the temple cleansing day to prepare for the temple worship time and the 7th day is to be the same and for those that erreth and for him that is simple or cannot understand or worship for themselves.
Exodus 23 has the same schedule dates as Leviticus 23 which were Law dates. Jesus has and will fulfill these.
The 7 year tribulation is giving the land that has been poisoned by radiation, fertilizers and chemicals 7 years to rest so there will be organic foods again during the millennium for those in the flesh under Jesus' governance. AMEN come quickly dear Jesus!
Jesus Christ is coming again and here is the proof as he told Peter after his death and Resurrection and before the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
John 21:20 Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, “Lord, who is the one who betrays You?” 21 Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, “But Lord, what about this man? (John, the writer of this who lived to be the oldest of them all and the last to die and was the youngest at this time)” 22 Jesus said to him, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.” 23 Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?” 24 This is the disciple who testifies of these things, and wrote these things; and we know that his testimony is true. 25 And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.
Jesus fulfilled the first 4 Jewish Feasts
- Passover: (Easter) Jesus is the sacrificial lamb crucified on the cross at the same time of the lamb being sacrificed on the alter by the Jews on the Temple. At the time of Jesus’ death the veil in the Temple was torn in 2 by God and God opened his grace to the entirety of mankind. Believers are now the Holy Spirit filled temple.
- Feast of Unleavened bread: (Passover, Easter) Jesus was a perfect, sinless human being on earth.
- First Fruits: (Passover, Easter) Jesus’ resurrection from the dead was the signifying that he is the first to be resurrected of the harvest and all who believe in him after will be harvested with him unto God given everlasting eternal life with Jesus.
- Shavuot / Feast of Weeks: (3rd month, Sivan, end of May) Leavened bread, Wheat / Pentecost, Wine, Holy Spirit, (5th month, Av) approx. 57 days apart and after the Resurrection / First Fruits (Jesus) on Full Moons. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit unto all mankind that believe unto Jesus giving the believer the indwelling and everlasting blessing of the Holy Spirit in them, eternal life with God. The Bride in Christ.
- Feast of Trumpets, Roshashana: (Fall Feasts, Oil (7th month, Tishri 1) The blowing of the trumpets to signify the blessings of the Lord. (The Gathering)
- The Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur: (Fall Feasts) The Jews will atone for their unbelief’s and acknowledge Jesus is their Messiah by the shedding of his holy innocent blood at Passover and call for his return to earth ending the 7 year tribulation.
- Tabernacles, Sukkot: (Fall Feasts) Jesus will tabernacle with all believers. Zechariah 13, 14.

1 Thessalonians 4: And Ch. 5:1 – 11.13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
2 Thessalonians 2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first (Laodicea church, final church of Revelation 3 then Rev. 13 the beast system takes over), and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (antichrist); 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God (mid tribulation 3.5 years). 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. (The Holy Spirit filled temple, Those who believe in Jesus Christ and are the Temple of God here on earth , each and every one who have replaced the Temple building after it was destroyed and Jesus Christ became the redeemer, savior of all creation) 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming (second coming): 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

1 Chorinthians 15: 47. The first man was dust from the ground; The second man, THE LORD JEHOVAH from Heaven. 48. Just as he who was a being of dust, so also is that which is of the dust, and just as he who is The Being from Heaven, so also is the Heavenly. 49. And as we have worn the image of him who is from the dust, so we shall wear the image of him who is from Heaven. 50. But this I say my brethren: flesh and blood cannot inherit The Kingdom of Heaven, neither does corruption inherit indestructibility. 51. Behold, I tell you a mystery: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be transformed, 52. Suddenly, like the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet, when it shall sound, and the dead shall rise without corruption, and we shall be transformed. 53. For this destructible is going to wear indestructibility and this mortal shall wear immortality. 54. Whenever this destructible puts on indestructibility and this mortal, immortality, then that word which is written shall come to pass, "Death is swallowed up by victory." 55. Where is your sting, oh death? Where is your victory, oh, Sheol? 56. But the sting of death is sin and the power of sin is The Written Law. 57. But thank God who gives us the victory by Our Lord Yeshua The Messiah. 58. From now on, my brethren and beloved, be steadfast; do not be shaken, but be abounding at all times in the work of THE LORD JEHOVAH, as you know that your toil has not been worthless in THE LORD JEHOVAH.
For the Jews, Matthew 24: 31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.37But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, (Genisis 6)39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. BIBLICAL PROOF OF A SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate – Daniel 9:27
How exactly do we know that the tribulation is indeed seven years?
There are many different ideas and theories as to the proper method to calculate the times of the tribulation. There are two schools of thought on this. The first school believes that the tribulation runs three and a half years in length. The second believes that the tribulation runs an entire seven years.
Make no mistake – your position on this is a direct reflection of the faith you hold in God. More on this in a moment.
We will demonstrate that God directly ordered a full seven year tribulation. The belief that it lasts only three and a half years is a doctrine of men that rely upon their own efforts to interpret scripture.
Daniel 9:24-27:
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
This block of scripture – known as the prophecy of 70 weeks, Daniel’s 70 weeks, or as the prophecy of the 70th week if we are looking primarily at the last of the 70 weeks for insight on the end times.
This block of scripture breaks the 70 weeks into three periods of seven weeks, 62 weeks and a final week, for a total of seventy weeks. The first two blocks of time, which total 69 weeks are set to the rebuilding of Jerusalem, the Second Temple and the crucifixion of Christ. This is also the prophecy which stands as the back story to something we see in the Gospels. In Luke, chapter two we learn of a priest named Simeon. We find that Simeon had the Holy Spirit with him, and that Simeon would not die until after he had seen the Messiah.
What should be understood in this is that Simeon was not simply hoping that the Messiah would come in his day. Rather, the nation of Israel knew that this was about the time their Messiah was to come. They had the prophecy of Daniel’s 70 weeks as a guide. They did not know the exact time that Messiah would come to earth, only that it would be about this certain time.
They knew the times and the seasons, yet only the Father knew exactly when Messiah would come.
This is why Simeon sought to witness the Messiah before he passed. He was faithful in all things and found favor with God. The Holy Spirit descended upon him and gave him a promise. Indeed, that promise was fulfilled when Jesus was presented on the 8th day of his life for purification at the Temple.
After the death and resurrection of Christ and the destruction of the Temple, 69 of the 70 weeks were complete. This leaves one final week – the 70th week – unfulfilled. A cursory examination of the scripture shows us that the final week is fulfilled in the end times, during what is commonly called the tribulation.
To answer a common question, the time between the 69th and 70th week is measured in covenant and decree time. That means the prophetic calendar starts and stops with covenants and decrees. In this case it stopped when Israel rejected the new covenant offered by Christ. It will restart when Israel accepts the false covenant offered by the Antichrist. Israel rejected Christ and destruction followed. They will accept the Antichrist and destruction will follow once again.
Now, we get to the heart of the matter – how long is the tribulation? Is it seven years or is it three and a half years? The first, best indicator of the timing of the tribulation is found in the three scriptures above.
It is important to understand the timing of the tribulation. The vast majority of false doctrine regarding the soon return of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ hinges on the tribulation being three and a half years in length, and not seven years. A three and a half year tribulation allows the deceived to justify reordering the Book of Revelation to stack the judgments that fall into something other than the chronological order in which they are given. Never mind that the Lord himself dictated the number and order of the judgments. If the Lord declared them to be of a certain number, then this is exactly what He means.
We know that the total time period is 70 prophetic weeks. We know that 69 of the 70 prophetic weeks were fulfilled by the time the Temple was destroyed. However, the most important piece of the puzzle is the start of the 70th week. Let’s look again at the scripture:
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
We see that the 70th week starts with the treaty with Israel. This is one of the few points that most Biblical scholars agree upon, regardless of whether or not they hold to seven years or three and a half years. However, this is where some make a critical mistake in their studies.
“and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”
There are many that point to this piece of scripture as proof that the tribulation is only three and a half years in length. They take this assumption and pair it with the rest of the timing scriptures that also indicate three and a half year increments. From this they conclude that the tribulation is indeed only three and a half years, and thus the Book of Revelation delivers all of its judgments in just three and a half years.
Here is the critical mistake:
While the Antichrist does indeed break a seven year treaty in three and a half years, the total prophecy still calls for a full 70th week. Even though the treaty is broken at its midpoint, it does not cancel out the rest of the week. Remember this – it is not the prophecy of 69 and a half weeks:
It is the prophecy of 70 weeks. That is 70 full weeks.
The single most important reason that the tribulation runs a full seven years is that God told Daniel that the 70th week is indeed a full week. Also, when we examine the original language we see that the wording used in the original Hebrew is indeed a week of years. Also, there are no scriptures in the Bible that assigns a different definition or timing value to the 70th week. It is, and always has been, a week or collection of seven years.
There are other proofs that the tribulation does indeed run the seven years, and not three and a half years. When you carefully examine the different time frames given for the various elements of the tribulation, you find that they apply to the subject at hand. Stated differently, those individual time elements apply specifically to the events described. For instance, when Daniel 9:27 tells us that the Antichrist breaks the treaty in three and a half years. That time frame is applicable to that event alone. It does not cut the tribulation by half – only the life of the treaty.
We see this demonstrated in Daniel, chapter 11. At verse 11:21 we see the rise of the Antichrist. In verse 22 we see what will be the battle outlined in Ezekiel 38 and 39. Then, in verse 23 we have the point in time where the treaty is signed. As we know from Daniel 9:24-27, this is what starts the tribulation, or the 70th week.
Now, from Daniel 11:24 to 11:30 we see the exploits of the Antichrist as be brings the beast kingdom to fruition. It is not until Daniel 11:31 that we see the Abomination of Desolation occur. We know from the Book of Revelation that there is yet another 1,260 days set to occur after the abomination. Logic dictates that the events detailed in Daniel 11:21-30 must occur over an extended period of time. Once complete, there is at least an additional 1,260 days yet to go.
Here is the order given in Daniel chapter 11:
9:21 – Antichrist rises, charms his way into power
9:22 – Ezekiel 38 / 39
9:23 – Treaty with Israel
<<< Start of the 70th week, Daniel 9:27 >>>
9:24 – Antichrist enters Arabia, spreads wealth, prepares for war
9:25 – War against the king of the south
9:26 – Overtakes the king of the south
9:27 – Treaty with king of the south
9:28 – Returns to Babylon with massive wealth and spoil
9:29 – At the appointed time, the Antichrist invades the south
9:30 – He is turned back, the invasion of Israel
9:31 – Abomination of Desolation / 1,260 Days remaining
All of these things occur before the period known as mid-trib, except for the Abomination of Desolation. This time period runs a minimum of 1,260 days, as determined by the timing of the two witnesses, which we will cover below – and by the signs in the heavens, which we will also cover below.
A third proof that the tribulation is indeed a minimum of seven years.
The Book of Revelation is littered with chronological markers and pictures of events that are designed to give the proper sequence of the timing. Let us look at one set of these markers – the three woes.
The three woes in the Book of Revelation are truly under appreciated, and as such they are generally overlooked. Most confine their study to the seals, trumpets and bowls. However, every word uttered in the Bible has significance and must be studied. The three woes are no different. To the contrary – it is the three woes that set the chronology of the tribulation.
Let us start with the first woe. In Rev. 9:12 we see that the first woe is complete. Officially, the three woes begin at Rev. 8:13, and each actually begins with the blowing of the last three trumpets. From 8:13 to 9:12 we find terrible judgments that strike not just the planet in general – but these judgments fall upon men specifically. This is why they are called the “woes”. Other judgments that are general in nature can be compensated for, and survived. The woes cannot be avoided – they are people specific.
So, in Rev. 9:12 we see that the first woe is complete, or passed. It is critical to note the timing. The first woe is tied to the completion of the fifth trumpet. More on this in a moment.
The second woe. We find the second woe in Rev. 11:13.
In Rev. 11:13 we find that 7,000 people have died as the result of an earthquake in Jerusalem. Likewise, the rest of the city fears God for this and gives him glory. As it was with the first woe, the second woe likewise fell upon specific people for a specific purpose.
Here is the critical part of the equation.
The second woe is tied to the start of the 6th trumpet and the two witness revealed in chapter 11. In chapter 11 we see that the rebuilding of the Temple, announcing the judgments of God and striking down those that come against the Temple are a part of the two witnesses and their calling. Also, they are decreed to stand for 1,260 days. This is important to understand. Many simply assume that the 1,260 day extends from chapter 11 forward. It does not. The 1,260 days end at Rev. 11:7.
The second woe is completed at the end of the 1,260 days of the two witnesses. They are overtaken by the Antichrist – who has just invaded Israel. They are killed and lay dead in the streets for three days. After the three days they are resurrected and raptured back to heaven. This results in an earthquake that finishes the second woe.
What must be remembered is that the completion of the second woe FOLLOWS the 1,260 days of the two witnesses. This is a direct designation by the Bible. This means that 1,260 days have progressed since the signing of the treaty with Israel – and BEFORE the second woe.
The second woe is then followed by the 7th trumpet and the start of the third woe – which runs the entire length of the second 42 months of the tribulation, which begins after the abomination of desolation. We see the commencement of the third woe in chapter 12, at verses 12 and 17 (the official start is the blowing of the 7th trumpet, but we see the stated effect for the first time at 12:12, after the Beast and False Prophet are introduced). This tells us that the third woe – like the first and second – is people specific. We find that the third woe commences after the remnant of Israel flees Jerusalem, and the Antichrist is stopped from harming them. It is now that he turns his attention to the rest of the saints. It is now that he heaps woe upon any that call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Also, the second woe is completed BEFORE the seventh trumpet. This is extremely critical.
We can sum up the chronology of the three woes in this manner:
The first woe is complete at fifth trumpet in Rev. 9:12.
The third woe starts after the abomination of desolation, in Rev. 12:17 – and runs the length of the 1,260 of the second half of the tribulation.
The completion of second woe comes at the end of the 1,260 days of the two witnesses. It also begins with the sixth trumpet – just before the seventh trumpet.
That tells us that a minimum of 1, 263 days have progressed BEFORE the 7th trumpet is sounded.
This is only possible if the tribulation runs the entire length of seven years – or the full 70th week.
In Daniel 12:11 - 13 it is said there will be 1290 days extended to 1335 days after the abomination of desolation for the Jews.
Tabernacle in the Millenial Reign
"The wealth of the conquered nations will accrue to Messiah’s Millennial Temple, filling it with abundance (a fitting contrast to Israel’s past, post-exilic poverty), increasing its splendor and value (Zeph. 3:20; Hag. 2:6–7, 22). All that God has purposed and planned through His provision as Lord of His people finally will be fulfilled and celebrated in the Millennial Feast of Tabernacles. This realization should prompt us to acknowledge gratefully God’s gift of Messiah for us today and His constant “tabernacling” with us through His indwelling Holy Spirit (Mt. 28:20; Eph. 2:22). The future feast will demonstrate openly the unity of Jewish and Gentile people as they alike bow to Jesus as their Messiah and Lord. Today it encourages the Body of Messiah to foster greater unity among all its members before a watching world (Jn. 17:20–21; Eph. 2:14–18). As we do so in the present age, we honor the Lord of the feast who one day will tabernacle with us forever: “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them” (Rev. 21:3)."

Tabernacle in the Millennial Reign after the tribulation
AMEN come quickly dear Jesus! After Messiah returns to Earth as King and establishes His Messianic Kingdom, with its center at the glorious Temple of Jesus in Jerusalem (Zech. 2:16 – 21, 3 all, 6:12–15; 8:3; Ezek. 40—48; Mt. 19:28; 25:31–32; Rev. 20:4), Israel’s festival calendar will resume as predicted by the prophet Ezekiel: “They shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my Sabbaths”
(Ezek. 44:24; cf. Zeph. 3:18). The Feast of Tabernacles has its fulfillment in the Millennium, when Israel finally will enjoy safe territorial boundaries and will be a blessing and witness to the Gentile nations (Gen. 12:2–3; 15:18; Isa. 2:2–4; 60:3; Jer. 32:37–41; 33:16; Ezek. 37:25–28). The term tabernacles (Hebrew, sukkot; Greek, skene) involves God’s promise to return to Earth and “tabernacle,” or dwell, with Israel in a way never before experienced in history:
Thus saith the LORD: I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem (Zech. 8:3).
I will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them (Ezek. 37:26–27).
The LORD of hosts shall reign in Mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously (Isa. 24:23).
Although this “tabernacling” means God’s presence again will inhabit the Temple, the prophet Isaiah indicated it will do so in a greater way than ever before. And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for upon all the glory shall be a defense [canopy] (Isa. 4:5).
The word defense, or canopy (Hebrew, huppah), of God’s glory in this verse is stated in the next verse to be a “tabernacle” (Hebrew, sukkah) from the heat by day and refuge and protection from the storm and the rain. This wording connects Israel’s past deliverance (from Pharaoh in Egypt) and temporary, man-made shelters (Lev. 23:42–43) with Israel’s future deliverance (from Antichrist in the Tribulation) and permanent, God given sanctuary. Ezekiel depicts the method of this future “tabernacling” with the return of God’s Shekinah Glory to the Temple (Ezek. 43:1–7); and Jeremiah reveals its result as Jerusalem becomes “the throne of the LORD, and all the nations shall be gathered unto it” (Jer. 3:17). Indeed, later Jewish interpretation saw in “tabernacles” not only the Israelites’ temporary shelters in the wilderness but also the divine sukkah (the Shekinah), which had “brought them out of the land of Egypt” (Lev. 23:43). Thus they joined the Feast of Tabernacles to the promise that God’s presence will dwell with Israel in the future as it had in the past (Hag. 2:5–9; cf. Zeph. 3:8 - 20). In a similar way, Jesus made this connection in His own Person as “the Word was made flesh, and dwelt [tabernacled] among us” (Jn. 1:14). At the Feast of Tabernacles, Jesus used two of the feasts’ Messianic symbols—the water libation and the light of the candelabras—to illustrate the fulfillment in Himself of the promised restoration of Israel under Messiah in the Millennial Age. Sukkot also celebrates God’s provision of refuge in the wilderness and recalls His promise to rescue Israel at the Time of Jacob’s Trouble (Tribulation period, Jer. 30:7, Amos 5:16 – 20, 8:9 – 12, 9:1, 9:8-10, Oba. 1:15 – 16, Rev. 6 - 20) and restore the nation in the future Kingdom of Messiah. At a special ceremony called the water-drawing festival, water from the Pool of Siloam was carried to the Temple and poured over the corner of the altar, a ritual based on an oral tradition dating to the time of Moses (Ta’anit 3a, Succot 44b, 44a). The ritual’s significance was both symbolic and prophetic. It’s symbolic purpose was a prayer for rain since the summer was about to end and the rainy season begin. This prayer demonstrated Israel’s dependence on the Lord, an act of faith that will be required of all nations in the Millennium (Zech. 14:16–19). Its prophetic purpose was Messianic: It looked forward to the outpouring of the Ruach Ha-Kodesh (the Holy Spirit, water) on Israel and the nations under the New Covenant in the Kingdom Age (Ezek. 36:27; Joel 2:28). Then Israel’s return to blessing will include the spiritual instruction and blessing of the nations, who will join Israel in the ongoing celebration of Sukkot (Zech. 14:16–19). In fact, the Scripture read in the synagogue on the Sabbath during the Feast of Tabernacles is Ezekiel 38, which deals with the future battle of Gog and Magog, in which the Lord miraculously preserves Israel in an end-times war. The word tabernacle also recalls the famous prophecy of the restoration of the Davidic Kingdom (“the tabernacle of David”) given in (Amos 9:11–15): In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches of it; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old, That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the nations, which are called by my name, saith the LORD who doeth this. The fulfillment of this prophecy, as explained in (Acts 15:14–18), will occur after the full complement of Gentiles has been grafted into the “olive tree,” through faith, at the completion of the Church Age and in keeping with the blessing of the Gentiles in the Abrahamic Covenant (Rom. 11:25). Gentiles who come to faith in the Jewish Messiah during the Time of Jacob’s Trouble for the Jews (Mt. 25:34–40) will join redeemed Jewish people in the true worship of God. The apostle John specifically used the imagery of the Feast of Tabernacles to describe Gentile Tribulation martyrs. He depicted them with palm branches, serving in His Temple while God dwells among them and Jesus guides them to “living fountains of waters” (Rev. 7:9–17). Such Gentile inclusion was anticipated by the alternate name for the feast, “the Feast of Ingathering” (Ex. 23:15–16), and was demonstrated during the feast in second Temple times when Jewish men participated in a Temple ritual where 70 sacrifices were offered for the sins of the nations that had come from the sons of Noah. These Gentile nations oppressed Israel, but the prophets included them in the future worshiping community—evidence of the changed conditions under Messiah’s New Covenant (Jer. 31:31–34). Gentiles who come to faith in the Jewish Messiah during the Time of Jacob’s Trouble…will join redeemed Jewish people in the true worship of God. (70 sacrifices = 70 weeks of Daniels prophecy (Dan. 9). Trust in the blood of the Lamb, Jesus, the last sacrifice!
For example: ”Many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people” (Zech. 2:11). Isaiah described the Millennial Temple as “an house of prayer for all peoples” (Isa. 56:7; cf. Mt. 21:13; Mk. 11:17; Lk. 19:46) to which all nations of the earth will come to learn the ways of the Lord (Isa. 2:2–3; 60:3; 62:2), to behold God’s glory (Isa. 60:3; 62:2; 66:18), to offer sacrifices (Isa. 56:6–7; 66:20), and to pay material tribute (Isa. 60:5; 66:18–19; cf. Hag. 2:7–8; Rev. 21:24).
This last reference to Gentile payment of tribute also is the only explicit mention of the Feast of Tabernacles in a Millennial context:
And it shall come to pass that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles (Zech. 14:16). The conclusion of Zechariah 12—14 details the Gentile invasion of Jerusalem during the campaigns of Armageddon. In the immediate context, chapter 14 summarizes events that reveal prophetic aspects predicted by the feast: the advent of Messiah (vv. 3–4), the rescue and restoration of the Jewish remnant (v. 5; cf. Lk. 21:27–28), the experience of heaven-sent light and living water (vv. 7–8), the recognition of Messiah as universal King (v. 9), the transformation of Jerusalem (v. 10), and the gathering of the wealth of the Gentile nations (v. 14).
Those obligated to observe the Feast of Tabernacles in verse 14 are the remnants of the Gentile nations that previously were allied with the Antichrist in his war against the Holy City (Zech. 12:3, 9; 14:2, 12; cf. Rev. 19:19; Ps. 2:1–3). Although a deadly plague will destroy those armies (vv. 12–13), others will remain in these countries to appear before Messiah’s judgment seat at the conclusion of the conflict (Mt. 25:31–32). Individuals who sincerely embraced Messiah and His rule (Rev. 15:3–4)—as evidenced by their costly compassion toward the Jewish people during Antichrist’s vicious, anti-Semitic reign (Mt. 25:35–40)— will continue into the Millennial Kingdom. Nevertheless, under the rod-of-iron rule of Messiah (Ps. 2:9; Rev. 19:15), these nations will be required to demonstrate their allegiance to King Messiah by appearing annually at His Throne-City with tribute and material offerings (as tokens of appreciation for His divine provision). This act is in accordance with an ancient association of the Feast of Tabernacles, recognizing the king as God’s son, as alluded to in (Psalm 2:10–12): Be wise now, therefore, O ye kings; be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss [do homage to] the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way.
The ancient observance of the feast was also followed by a Levitically led ceremony of covenant renewal (Neh. 9:1–38) that reaffirmed national allegiance to the Lord (Neh. 10:29). Therefore,( Zec. 14:17–19 ) warns these nations that failing to observe the Feast of Tabernacles will be tantamount to spiritual and national rebellion. Because part of the ritual of the Feast of Tabernacles involves asking for rain (specifically the former rains), a punishment for nations that fail to appear annually in Jerusalem will be a withholding of rain—the very gift that made possible their gifts. Another punishment will be a plague. The warning specifically includes Egypt, whose natural productivity depends more on the gift of the Nile than the gift of rain and whose punishment to secure acknowledgment of Jehovah’s sovereignty at the time of the Exodus had been plagues. The Feast of Tabernacles will unite these nations in a universal allegiance to Jesus as King Messiah, Sovereign Lord, and Judge (Zech. 14:9, 17; Isa. 2:4) and will provide an occasion for the Jewish people to fulfill their destiny as a light to the Gentiles in spiritual instruction to these nations (Isa. 2:3; Zech. 8:22–23; cf. Hab. 2:14). Because the nations will become vassals of the Lord, they also will have the right to be called “His people,” just as He, as their suzerain, can be called “their God.” Isaiah elevates the nations of Egypt and Syria to covenantal status (Isa. 19:24–25), making them co participants in both the obligations and benefits of the Temple (Isa. 19:21; 56:6–8; 60:3; 66:20). The wealth of the conquered nations will accrue to Messiah’s Millennial Temple, filling it with abundance (a fitting contrast to Israel’s past, post-exilic poverty), increasing its splendor and value (Zeph. 3:20; Hag. 21:3, Rev. 20 – 22) is Millennium and Eternity when the temple comes down to earth.
